Hello Race Fans!! Today we had a wild and windy day at the top of South Pass for Day 4 of the race. Racers began today fresh from a day off yesterday.  Both racers and dogs looked anxious to begin the 42 mile leg of the race.

Today we were joined by Lander's Gannett Peak 3rd graders as well as 2nd and 3rd grade students from Riverton. Students were treated to hot chocolate, handler talks, and photo ops with our photo boards. They also had chance to pull their teacher in their very own race.

As we began the day, Jerry Bath wore the yellow bib. Racers were faced with strong winds and blowing snow but overall found the trail to be snow packed. Lina Streeper once again came out on top and received the yellow bib.

Check back tomorrow for more race updates as we being Day 5 in beautiful Pinedale, Wyoming. Mush on!
