Hello race fans!! Today was day 2 of the Pedigree Stage Stop Dog Sled Race. Today our mushers and dogs ran 35 miles just outside of Pinedale, Wyoming. When we arrived at the trailhead it was -8 degrees. Very cold!! The dogs love to run on these cold snowy mornings.

Racers departed the chutes in the opposite order that they came in yesterday. This means the last person in yesterday, was our first to depart. Today's trail conditions were slick and fast. It seemed like the mushers returned quickly.

#22-Guy Giard and #2 Austin Forney

Yesterday's winner, Lina Streeper, wore the yellow bib as she left the chute. Lina had a great run but Annie was able to capture today's yellow bib with a quicker time on the trail. These human and dog athletes are showing us an amazing race so far.

We hope you will check back as we head to Kemmerer, Wyoming for Day 3 of the race. Check out today's result and the overall standings after Day 3 of the race.
