Pedigree Stage Stop Race Kicks Off with an Epic Junior Musher Night in Jackson Hole!

Tonight, we launched the 30th year of the Pedigree Stage Stop Dog Sled Race with an unforgettable evening in downtown Jackson Hole—featuring the Junior Musher Race! Thirteen lucky kids had the thrill of a lifetime, riding through the snowy streets in a race of their very own!

Becoming a Junior Musher isn’t just about hopping on a sled—it takes hard work and heart! Each participant completed ten hours of community service, wrote a passionate paragraph about why they wanted to join, and made the journey from their hometowns to Jackson Hole for this special event.

As the snowflakes fell, excitement filled the air while the Junior Mushers lined up, ready to ride with their assigned mushers. A huge crowd of spectators gathered, cheering on the kids and the sled dogs. The verdict? The Junior Mushers called it an “EPIC” ride!

And this is just the beginning! Next stop: Pinedale for Stage #1 of the race! Stay tuned for more paw-some adventures ahead!
