That’s a Wrap! The 2025 Pedigree Stage Stop Race Comes to an Exciting Finish!
The final snowflakes have settled, the last sled has crossed the finish line, and after seven thrilling stages, the 2025 Pedigree Stage Stop Race has officially come to an end! What an incredible journey it has been, full of fast dogs, determined mushers, and a whole lot of fun.
A Race to Remember
From the snowy trails of Jackson to the wide-open landscapes of Kemmerer, Lander, and beyond, our mushers and their hardworking dogs raced over 200 miles through some of the most beautiful (and challenging) terrain in the West. They battled snowstorms, strong winds, and icy trails, but through it all, they never gave up.
Along the way, we saw amazing teamwork between mushers and their dogs. These four-legged athletes ran their hearts out, tails wagging, eager to race every morning. And the mushers? They guided their teams with skill and determination, proving that the bond between a sled dog and their musher is something truly special.
And the Winner Is…
After seven exciting stages, Anny Malo came out on top as the 2025 Stage Stop Champion! Her team showed incredible speed and consistency, leading the pack across each stage. Right behind her, Bruce Magnusson and Alix Crittenden gave it their all, making for a thrilling race until the very end. Every musher and dog team worked so hard, and we couldn’t be prouder of all the competitors.
More Than Just a Race
One of the best parts of this event wasn’t just the racing—it was the communities, kids, and fans who made it so special. Schools and families came out to cheer, count down the mushers at the start line, and learn about the sport. Students tracked their favorite mushers, asked great questions, and even got to meet the dogs up close. It was amazing to see so many young minds excited about dog sledding and the incredible teamwork behind it.
Until Next Year!
The dogs are now getting a well-deserved rest, the mushers are warming up by the fire, and we are already counting down to next year’s race. Thank you to everyone—volunteers, sponsors, families, and fans—who made this year’s Pedigree Stage Stop Race so special.
Who knows? Maybe next year, we’ll see you out on the trails, cheering at the start line, or even racing with your own sled dog team! Until then, keep dreaming big, exploring the outdoors, and staying curious about the amazing world of dog sledding.
See you at the 2026 Pedigree Stage Stop Race!
