Lander, Wyoming Stage Monday February 1st 2016 Meet the Mushers 4:30 -6:00 pm Traffic will be closed the 200 block of Main St for this Awesome Family Event. Dog Trucks will line the 200 Block , they will have their dogs out for a visit. Bring Your Phone & Cameras. Leave Pets Home. Lander Bake Shop will host the 2015 IPSSSDR Movie. Stop in get some hot cocoa and cookie, sit enjoy the show. Movie is approx 15-20 minutes long. will play on loop. Tuesday Feb 2nd 2016 Race Day 7:00 am Teams arrive at Race Start, carpool the parking lot is small 9:00 am Race Start is at Louis Lake parking lot on top the South Pass. Mushers leave in 3 minute intervals starting 9 am sharp. 43 mile distance. approx 3-4 hrs later returning. Teams are staggered. Once done they need to take care of their dogs and get down the road .
