Hello race fans!! Day 7 started out in a very snowy Driggs, Idaho. Racers were returning from their day off. The dogs and mushers both looked rested when they arrived at the trailhead this morning.

Today's race began in a different location which was exciting to us all. Our previous location required that the dogs make a steep uphill climb up a hill to get to the starting line. We all loved the new location and everyone made it out of the chute safely.

While the mushers were out on the trail, I had a chance to watch the handlers hard at work walking dogs, feeding dogs, and drinking some well deserved hot chocolate.

Today's trail was soft and deep. We did have snowfall most of the day and wind on and off. Anny was the last to head out on the trail in her yellow bib. We were excited to see musher coming in after about 2 hours and 9 minutes on the trail.

Anny was our racer with the fastest time, followed by Lina Streeper. Only about 15 minutes separate our 1st and 2nd place teams. Anny will again head out on the trail tomorrow with the yellow bib.

Tomorrow is the final stage of the 2021 Pedigree Stage Stop Dog Sled Race and we will know who will be this year's champion. Anything can happen on the trail! Check back tomorrow to find out the result of Stage 8 and to find out who our new champion is!
